Satellite internet — on request
A satellite internet terminal is not fitted to every vehicle in the fleet. If you need connectivity along the whole route, say so when booking and we will confirm availability for your dates.
We take people where there is no coverage, no fuel stations and no recovery services. Below is the specific equipment and the protocols that make it work.
There is no mobile network on the plateau. Contact with base runs over two independent channels.

Passenger transport is insured with Eurasia Insurance Company.
On group departures the vehicles keep a permanent radio channel: the convoy does not stretch out or lose each other in the dust.
The vehicles are prepared for the desert, not bought stock. The specifications below are what is actually fitted.
Mud-terrain and all-terrain tread with reinforced sidewalls: it holds on sharp shell rock and does not tear on stony descents.
Shocks and springs rated for constant load: water, fuel and camp gear on board do not bottom out the suspension on corrugations.
An additional radiator and temperature monitoring: in summer the engine works with +45 °C outside.
Self-sufficiency does not mean discomfort. This is how daily life works on the fifth day away from civilisation.

The frame withstands crosswind on the open plateau. A separate tent is pitched for each guest, with no sharing.
In Comfort and Comfort Plus the sleeping place is a camping mattress inside the tent. A folding cot with an air mattress is part of the Lux tier.
Holds +4 °C in the heat. Meat, dairy and fruit stay fresh throughout the route.
Warm water and an enclosed cubicle at camp — basic hygiene is maintained even on the fifth day away from civilisation.
A step-by-step protocol the guide follows out loud and in order — no improvisation.
We answer them before you book, not after.
